Preparation time: 15 min.
640 g chickpea or lentil flour
1 teaspoon organic black pepper N ° 103
1 teaspoon of organic cumin (ground) N ° 935
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 clove of garlic
250 ml of water
approx. 300 ml vegetable oil
1 pinch of cayenne pepper N ° 061
Crispy, light and delicious, that's how Papadams taste like Papad. You can snack with a little mango chutney or serve with a curry.
  1. Mix the flour (chickpea or lentil flour) and spices (cumin, pepper & salt) thoroughly.
  2. Chop the garlic very finely and add it as well.
  3. Gradually add water until a firm batter is formed.
  4. Drizzle walnut-sized pieces of dough with a little oil and roll out very flat. Finally sprinkle with a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Put the papadams in the hot oil and fry for a minute on each side.

tip The thin papadams go great with our vegetarian lentil dal with spinach.
