Looking for tips for implementing a travel database

    Hello Community,
I am new to the Typolight and I lack the overview, which is why I have the following question for the experienced.

The following scenario: A foundation that awards travel grants wants a database for the completed trips. Each entry has at least one travel topic, the name of the traveler, the travel destination and the travel year. For some trips there are also travel reports with pictures. On the one hand, there should be a view with all trips that I can sort by travel year and country. And on the other hand, there is another view in which only the trips with reports appear. A teaser of the report should be shown in the list.

After trying for a long time, the catalog plugin most closely met the requirements, insofar as I can define many fields there in order to sort according to them. The problem is, however, that I don't know how I can comfortably add a report with images to an entry there, similar to how, for example, the articles are compiled from content elements. The fields text and long text only offer minimal functionality.

Hence the question, is there somehow the possibility of adding nicely formatted content to the catalog plugin?
Or, is there a much smarter way to implement the above scenario in Typolight?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi MacKP,
Thank you for your answer. Activating the TinyMCE would actually do that. Unfortunately I have another problem with it, but I will post the question in the appropriate catalog forum. Maybe you can answer there then
