Which is better MySQL or MS SQL

Hello everybody,
So now I have to quickly make a small contradiction.

MS SQL costs, that's true, but the DesctopEngine of the SQL Server is sufficient for development and it is free.

Furthermore, the statement that MS SQL can only be queried by IIS and ASP is not correct!
PHP can also access MS SQL, ok with a Windows server it is easier than on a Unix server, but regardless of whether on windows or unix with php, it can be accessed, php also provides database commands like with oracle database.

If you are now saying nonsense that doesn't exist, here is the link ;-)

PS: a quick note, MS SQL can also do a lot more than MySQL and depending on what you want to do you should consider throwing MySQL to the wind and using a real database like MS SQL or if you already have nothing to do with it an Oracle.
